15 km east of central Doha. Main runway 16L/34R is 4,850 m, one of the longest in the region, and Qatar Executive operates its own premium terminal on the field.
The original city airport, 5 km from the centre, closed to scheduled traffic in 2014. The 4,572 m runway is still active but access is by prior permission and the field is used by state and military operators, so plan on DOH unless your operator already has standing arrangements.
